The knife I received is not the knife shown on Amazon.
It is a very nice Shun knife, but it is not an Alton's Angles
knife. The knife shown on Amazon had Alton Brown's logo on it, this one does not. I bought this gift as a birthday present for my husband who is a huge fan of Alton Brown's. I was told by customer service the Alton's Angles knife is not available anymore. If so, Amazon should not show his image on it.

Shun presents the Alton Brown Angle santoku knife. It is very well crafted and rivals my Henkels in heft and feel. The blade is beautifully crafted steel, and has ridge lines embossed that give it the look of folded damscus steel. This is an extremely sharp blade. The angle of the handle keeps your knuckles from hitting the cutting board. I look forward to a lifetime of use from this quality piece.

Great utility knife for everything from dicing onions and julienning vegetables to trimming meat.

Use it much more than my 7-inch Shun Santoku.

Keeps a sharp edge, but needs a sharpener designed for the different edge angle of Japanese knives.
