Suppossed to be Free Shipping and the company waived the shipping charge, then mailed the products with insufficient postage. Had to drive to the Post Office (check the price of gas lately), the had to pay the $2.75 Postage Due to them. Sure, the company sent it "free shipping" by spending just enough to get it in the mail. All I had to do was pay the U.S. Post Office instead. I decided to finally upgrade to an 'N' Network so that my computers all over the house would not be stringing wires everywhere....

Knew Belkin Name for inexpensive but quality products... This is NOT one of them.

I got 4 of these along with their N Router...
I could not get the network to work, I fought it for 2 weeks off and on, and I couldn't get anything to talk to anything else. All I was trying to do at the time was setup 1 wireless computer about 5 feet away from the router, which was sitting right next to my ISP's Gateway device. Figured I'd get one working then head out to get the others configured. After 2 weeks I gave up, had a friend look at it, and we finally figured out the issue was the adapter was dead. Tried the second one and was on the network in about 5 minutes. When finally done, we had 2 dead adapters, from 2 different purchase points, out of 6 we tried to use.

Recommendation is stay away from Belkins 'N' Network devices.

Their Tech support is not great as their out-sourced support has a script to follow, and if you have something that isn't on the script you need to unplug your Router and adapter device for 30 minutes, plug it back in and see if that fixes the issue. If not call back with this case number (In other words, I have no idea, call back and get some one else)...

Paired with the Belkin N1 wireless router, I clock a consistent 300mbps. Setup is a breeze. This maybe a little biased since I am a rather experienced network admin but by all count since I don't have to manually configure anything, any layman should be able to setup within 10 minutes.

What is disappointing is that I wrote Belkin tech support and also posted on their support site a question, received an acknowledgement and a "canned" email stating someone will get back to me within 72 hours. That was over ten days ago.. still no response.

Have this product installed on my daughter's computer for about two years without any major problems. Read all the other reviews and it appears a lot of customers are having issues with this adapter. I also purchased the Belkin N1 Vision router and it's a good product, easy to install, just plug in the wires and the Belkin N1 Vision does the complete set-up for you. I hooked this router to my computer running cable then to my daughter's computer using the old slow AOL phone modem. Installed the Belkin N1 wireless USB adapter to her computer and she is now downloading and uploading at high-speed. I do agree that Belkin has not made any firmware updates to both the adapter and the N1 router since my purchase about two years ago. The only minor issue I became aware of was on some occasions the system would indicate "No Internet Connection", both my computer and my daughter's system would drop the internet signal, consequently losing all connection to the internet. To resolve this issue after speaking with a Belkin representative, he advised me to power-off the Belkin N1 router for about 30 seconds then power-on to allow the router to re-boot. After re-booting the signal was regained and the internet connection was restored. I sense this is a firmware issue which Belkin still has not resolved with both of these products. I have been waiting for an ESV that had enough room for copious notes. The "Journalling Bible" was not it (the type was too small and thus the space for notes on each verse was limited). The "Deluxe Reference Bible" came close, but had margins that were just a bit miserly.

The "ESV Single Column Reference Bible" is an excellent bible for study. The ESV translation is one of the best, and the page arrangement of this version is ideal for taking notes (and there is some room for adding to the cross-references, if one desires to do so).

The TruTone cover is a nice artificial calfskin; it is so supple and soft that you will feel decadent. Two buddies who borrowed or handled mine actually commented that they wished they could afford such a nice Bible. I didn't get it to induce covetousness, but it is nice to know that SOMETHING I own might be droolworthy.

This is a fine Bible, but not perfect.

The "Single Column Reference Bible" is just two strokes off par. These have been mentioned by others, but I think deserve acknowledgment:

First and foremost, the pages are indeed thin. One particular example of this is that the bleed-through of printing from the back of each page actually is as dark as the (gray) paragraph marks on the page one is reading. I have had Bibles that had thinner pages, and one can adapt to them. Still, I am approaching the age at which I appreciate any eyesight help that I can get.

In addition, the type is a bit harder to read than that of the "Deluxe Reference Bible," being both smaller and less heavy.

Had this Bible used the paper of the "Deluxe Reference Bible," I think I would have little to criticize (except, of course, the unwieldly thickness it would then possess).

As it is, I find myself using this Bible quite often for casual verse look-up, and generally carry it to church and bible study. The note-taking space seems to be most important to me in those venues. For most reading and at-home study, I still prefer the "ESV Deluxe Reference Bible."

If you really want a Bible with room to make plenty of lengthy notes, the Single Column Reference Bible will probably be satisfactory. However if you can get by with modest note-taking space, or if bleed-through from other pages really reduces readability for you, then you would probably prefer the "Deluxe Reference" over the "Single-Column Reference."

By the way, for any Bible (including this one) that has enough bleed-through to be annoying, you might find it useful to keep a couple of sheets of black paper tucked inside the Bible. If you put one of these behind the page you are reading, the print from the backside is much less noticeable (although the whole page will sort of look gray).

Now that I am in my 50s I wanted a Bible that had larger print and I found it in the ESV large print edition. I bought the leather bound copy and it is a truly fine Bible. It comes with a ribbon marker (to keep the ribbon from fraying dab a little clear finger nail polish on the bottom half inch of both sides of the ribbon). The leather is stiff but will soften as it is held and also saddle soap can help. The 12.5 point font size is wonderful. It is so refreshing to read a Bible that is simply the Bible text and nothing else. There are translator notes which enhance the ESV but there are no cross references with this edition (which I am happy with). Just to sit and meditate on the pure text is something I wanted. The ESV comes in many fine variations- the Reformation Study Bible is terrific, their reference editions are also very fine. As far as being a good translation- this is bound to give the NIV, the NAS and the NKJV a real run for the money. I find it is elegant, precise and reverent. All in all, this is worth every penny of investment to have a large print leather bound Bible which with a little care will be a treasured companion for life.

ESV Thinline Bible (TruTone, Charcoal, Crown Design) Review by W. Larry Enzor (Taylorville, IL USA)

I have been very impressed with the English Standard Version since its publication in 2001. Of the multitude of English translations of Scripture available, it may well be the best combination of accuracy, readability, and literary quality. Up until now, the one major disappointment, as many other reviewers have noted, has been the rather poor quality of publications in which it was available.
WIth this new edition of the Classic Reference Bible, it appears that Crossway has finally achieved the goal of providing a high quality ESV Bible. While the text, references, footnotes, maps, and concordance are identical to the already published Classic Reference Bible, there are, in my opinion, three unique improvements in this edition that commend it to anyone who loves and prefers this wonderful translation:
(1) The print type is larger, a 10.5 size (vs 9.5 in the original Classic Reference), which makes it easier to read. This is especially true with regards to the references and footnotes, which were practically illegible to my 40+ year old eyes.
(2) The wider margins allow notetaking, a real plus.
(3) While I don't claim to be a binding expert, it does appear that the binding used (at least on the genuine leather edition) is of a higher quality than on the original edition, which is a much needed improvement.
In summary, I would commend this edition of the ESV without qualification, unlike the earlier editions.

The good thing about having an older model iphone is that the accessories are way cheaper than previously. My choise was either this case or the Switcheasy Vulcan and I ended up purchasing this case for my 3gs. The vulcan had an inverted V pattern at the back of the case which I don't really like plus the switcheasy logo pop out which makes the phone unbalance, not to mention they are more pricey. But I like the fact that SE provide a dock protector and I was hoping Incipio will do the same but as you know, they didn't.

Anyway, I bought the ngp case for less than $9 directly from amazon. I got to say that this case is good, I previously was using the rebel m from switcheasy and wanted a slimmer case. So I bought this case and put it on my black iphone. I like the fact that the apple logo at the back is visible. Do note that the back is a frosted clear and not just clear.

The case is tight fit. Only issues are that there are some watermarks around the edges of the phone, I guess if you own a white iphone, this will not be an issue. Other than that the buttons are pretty difficult to press, the on/off switch and the volume button, you must press it hard. But those are just minor issues, overall a good case and I would recommend it only if you don't mind needing to press your phone's button harder, with more strength.

Good case, but trust the picture, it's red, not "thunderstorm" or any other shade of gray. The case itself is very good and highly protective. It wraps around the face just enough to cover the entire chrome bezel. The sleep button is hard to push. If you're looking for a red case, I would rate it at 5 stars.

Great case, good feel, easy to clean. The top doesn't completely cling to the phone, it pops up just a little bit. Overall I wouldn't choose any other for over looks, functionality and protection. The front comes out just a little over the front of the screen so when you set your phone down face down it does not touch the surface.

I constantly travel for work and frequently want to sync that new app that I have downloaded or podcast from my laptop to my iPhone or iPad. The flipSYNK definitely fits the bill. It saves me from finding the cable that is buried in my bag or on my desk at home.

I will agree with the other reviewer that the connection into the port is a tight, perhaps overly. I wouldn't say that its a reason not to buy the product though.

I am extremely impressed with the way they have designed this to fit into a minimum space and completely enclose the connectors for their protection.

However, they are not so clever with their choice of dimensions for the USB connector. The connector is much thicker than other similar connectors I have and it is an extremely tight fit in any standard USB receptacle. I measured several connectors of this type (without metal shells) and they are all 2 mm �0.1 mm thick. The flipSYNK is 2.8 mm thick; nearly 50% thicker!

Since I am otherwise so impressed with the design, I decided to call Scosche customer service to see if this was some kind of manufacturing anomaly. But the rep said it was deliberately thicker for a tight fit so it wouldn't have any danger of falling out. Frankly my greater concern is that it would damage the connector in my $2000 laptop. It is so hard to push into a USB receptacle that I really don't want to risk trying. I have tested the snugness of all my 2 mm thick connectors and don't feel there is any risk of any of them coming loose with normal handling.

Since I do love the design other than this critical flaw, I have decided to file (or sand) down the connector to 2 mm and keep it instead of getting a refund. But I feel the extra thickness is such a serious flaw that I only gave it 2 stars; which I will happily raise to the full 5 if they ever fix this error.

I will add a photo to illustrate the issue.

This is a slick little device that works exactly as described.

To those people who were concerned about the thickness of the USB portion, I have found the same to be true of the really tiny USB drives like those that come as system restore disks for the MacBook Air (e.g. Verbatim Tuff n Tiny USB flash drives). It appears that the way they make these tiny devices durable is to eliminate the metal sheath around the USB contacts and then improve the durability and stiffness of the contacts by making the stem on which they are mounted just a tad thicker. Yes, it's a bit of a nuisance but you'll get used to it.

I plan to use this primarily as an emergency connector so the short size doesn't bother me and hopefully I won't run into the problem with loose contacts after multiple uses that others have described.

I liked this puppy well enough to order another couple for my other keychains.

I have the green and blue striped clip, and I like it a lot. The stripes aren't painted on, but actually woven into the ribbon, so I haven't had any problems with the paint coming off. I have been using my pacifier clips for several months, and I haven't had any problem with the buckle breaking. These work the best for soothies out of anything else I have found.

My son uses the soothie pacifier and I first purchased a holder made my soothie, but it doesn't work at all. It's heavy and poorly designed. I came across this one on the Amazon site and decided to give it a try because it's so hard to keep track of his pacifier and not let it fall to the ground when we are out and about. This one works great! I highly recommend it.

The strap is really long compared to other pacifier clips I have so it ends up wrapped around my son's neck when he rolls around unless I clip it down by his belly. He's 5 months and 80th percentile in height so it's not like he's just too short for it.

Both my husband and I have one of these chairs, and we decided to buy one each for our parents as well. We have it always in our car. We've used it for soccer games, waiting in line for concerts, etc. You can carry it with you and it's very low-profile. No bigger or heavier than an umbrella. My parents are elderly and this is really useful for them, since they can't stand for long periods. One thing: this chair is really sturdy too! You wouldn't think so, but it is strong but light. Highly recommend.

If you are like me a person who likes to fish and walk streams or watch field sports, this stool is a winner.
The stool is light weight and carries easly over your shoulder leaveing both hands free.
It is comfortable to sit on and sturdy. I weigh over two hundred and fifty pounds and it is nice to know the stool isn't going to bend or suddenly give way under you.
If it has one drawback it is that the seat area is a little small but not uncomfortably so. I have sat around campfires several hours with friends and been quite happy with the product.
I would buy it again and have recommended it to many people.

What I expected:

A minimal yet functional audio interface with at least 2 outputs so I can cue on headphones while DJing.

What I received:

This audio interface seemed to be one of the cheapest ones on the market, so I gave it a try. After installing the drivers, I found that the audio interface worked fine. However, this lasted about a couple hours, then it stopped working. The only noises that came from it were crackling noises. I am returning this product soon. It was most likely a manufacturer's defect, however, I did not like the build quality of the audio interface either (it was entirely made of cheap plastic). I will try the mixvibes umix44 instead.

As a new DJ, I needed a card that would allow me to hook up speakers, a mic, headphones, and possibly some monitor speakers. The DJ IO can do all of that and it does it well. This works very well with Virtual DJ, it's easy to set up (if you have the CD), and I haven't had any problems with it.

I use this for my portable DJ set up.I run a Windows based Laptop with Virtual DJ Pro. It separates each virtual decks into a right and left channel that I plug into a mixer via RCA cables. It provides full, clean sound with absolutely no lag. I have used this card for a couple of parties, it's small and runs off the USB port on my computer, so all I have to do plug it in and I am ready to go.
I wish it had XLR outputs though, so I could connect it directly to my JBL IONs without an external mixer. It's still a great value for the price.

I purchased this item for the vibrating reminder feature. It's a great concept, but the device does not keep time. After replacing the batteries (thought to be the cause of time-loss) with brand new ones, the timer was still off by several minutes at the end of the day. I've left it sit for three weeks and it's now over six hours off. Don't depend on this device to help you make it to meetings on time! Three sets of fresh batteries have not resolved the problem. It works OK as a countdown 'pill timer', but surely not worth the money for the other features if it can't keep time.

Invisible Clock II - Vibrating Reminder Review by Brent Yerian

I have owned one and used it 24 hours a day for over 3 1/2 years. I am in a wheelchair and need to routinely offload/shift my weight. The problem is, in the past I have always forgotten. This has allowed me to set any amount of continuous increments throughout the day (20 minutes) and then it shuts off automatically at 10:30 PM and doesn't start again until the next morning. I can also easily set it to simply vibrate during meetings, movies, etc.

It takes a little time to figure out how to program it to that type of detail; but it's worth it. You can remind yourself as many, or as little, times a day -- anytime of the day. It also can set timers simply based on countdown increments.

The buttons may be a little bigger than some of today's technology, that actually works better for me. However, I don't think it's a major detriment to anyone that needs this type of device.

Lastly, as I said -- it is durable. Many times through the years I've dropped it with no problems whatsoever. The only reason I am back here purchasing another at this time is that no matter how durable it may be it could not withstand an electric wheelchair running directly over it :-)

Highly recommended.

It helps remind me to keep a look-out when I might otherwise lose track of time. I bought one of these Invisible Clock II units a few years ago and it works quite well. I can clip it to my pants belt or life vest strap like a pager and it will beep at whatever interval I set. When we are day sailing with guests I keep it on "vibrate" so they don't hear it, but it reminds me to check our blind spot (beyond the forward sail) every few minutes -- helpful in crowded areas when there are many boats out on the weekends. If going offshore you need to keep watch on the horizon less frequently, but you can have a major problem if you lose track of time and don't keep watch once in a while.

The only negative is the battery life is only so-so, but it might be better if you don't use vibrate every 2 minutes like I do. I agree that the user interface might be confusing for some people, but it is well documented and considering the many functions and flexible options, I think they did a very good job of design.

This is a great product for an incredible price. We looked at wall mounts at all the usual stores then came across this for a 1/4 of the price of others. It took me longer to clear away the current entertainment center than it did to assemble and mount on the wall. Only negative issue I had was the level that is mounted to the frame was broken during shipping. I checked the included magnetic level with my other larger levels and it was level which made the install a little easier. We'll definitely look to Cheetah wall mounts in the future.

I absolutely love this pattern. I bought this set in blue and pink for my son and daughter. The frame is so terrible. It falls apart every time I look at it. If I take clothes out, it falls apart. If I put clothes in, it falls apart. If I move it, it falls apart. We are going to try wood glue to fix the problem but who knows. I am terribly disappointed in the quality considering I paid $30 something each for these hampers.

I bought my scale in December, 2010. It stopped working on July 24, 2011. The same thing that happened to Karin Brown (see 1 star review) happened to me. I tried replacing the batteries, but that isn't the problem. Currently, if I press the on/off bar very hard and/or several times in succession, I can get it to turn on, but the on/off switch is obviously defective. I would be willing to "play" with the mechanism, but it's encased in plastic with no possible access.

I have used Soehnle scales for years and I loved this model for the kitchen for the 7 months it worked. I was going to give it another try because I've had such good luck with the brand in the past. Unfortunately, the price has increased by 50% - a bit steep for a product that doesn't work for more than 7 months.

I buy hardly any kind of product these days without consulting Amazon reviews first. This latest experience is a reminder of why. If I had read these reviews first, I would have been forewarned.

Quite simply, the kettle does not whistle. The box says, "Strong, loud whistle" but the kettle itself remains silent. The cap over the spout has a hole in it, with nothing across it or over it that might induce a whistle. Perhaps it is a mute whistle, for use at tea parties in Carthusian monasteries.

I have a half-century of experience with tea kettles and have known them lose their whistle, have a poor whistle or even too loud a whistle, but this is the first I have seen that was born utterly whistleless.

I'll now look for another kettle and yes, I will read the reviews first.

So, my turkey leg is resting so I decided to write this review while I wait.

I bought this for myself since my partner HChevere is a big jerk and I thought it was beautiful. The gift box is very nice and the product was packaged well.

It's too bad I have to wait another month before receiving the sugar & creamer set (back ordered). This will be my first tea set. I plan on also purchasing the Roccoco Noir 12" cake pedestal, and since I already have a black dinner ware set, I think it'll look just creamy!

I bought this teapot a while ago from amazon and have really enjoyed using it. [...] I simply love it! I will definetly buy the cake stand and the creamer set from amazon also. Beware that the teapot is not packed appropriately (not enough packing material inside the decorative box) However, I don't think this is amazons fault as the as the box the teapot comes in is packeage very securely inside the shipping box. So many boxes!

This tea pot is great! Do you know how hard it is to find a black tea pot? When it arrived in the gift box and I examined the tea pot I could not tell that it was an inexpensive tea pot. It has the weight, design and quality of a more expensive tea pot in addition to the presentation of the gift box. I needed this tea pot to match my China Set which is a Mikasa Black Opus Set. It looks great with this set! It is as if the teapot was part of my China set. I will be hosting a Women's Tea luncheon at my church and I will be very proud to have this tea pot as the center piece. I was so impressed with the the tea pot that I ordered and received the matching sugar bowl and creamer. I highly recommend this product.

Installed this on our 01 Jaguar S-Type and it works great. No longer have heat blowing out the drivers side at all times. It is time consuming to put on because of the tight quarters but can be done without too much technical knowledge. It is best to disconnect all the heater lines where you can easily get to them and lift out the unit with all the lines still attached to it.

I Love this desk. Now i can work in a huge area. The wood part of the desk is actually some different kind of wood underneath. The brown wood is actually just some wood plastic covering thing. But it is still study overall. It is great for have 3 monitors and doing eyefinity or nvidia surround.

It took 3 guys to put it together in 2 1/2 hours. We read the instructions and made sure we followed it step by step. The manufacturer also included an extra bag of screws to make sure if some messed up, you got extras.

The bottom of the desk leg supports has adjustable angle pieces which can make the table able to stay on uneven floor.

I actually purchased this desk directly from [...] (through Amazon.com) because it was about $20.00 cheaper. The desk is pretty solid and enough space for all of my computer peripherals and more. It took a little over an hour to assemble myself, but would have likely easier with an additional pair if hands.

I was worried that the bolts would be cheap aluminum, as I have experienced with other desks, but to my surprise everything was solid.

Received unit and was missing the end nozzle. Also trigger linkage not working correctly. Started and ran well (though not able to control the speed), comfortable to wear.

Called Solo 800 number and talked to a technician -- VERY responsive --- they are shipping a replacement end nozzle and are sending UPS to pickup the unit to repair it in Newport VA (home office)and ship it back.

Great service so far - will try and rereview the item performance once I get it back.

I've owned this blower for 13 years. I've tried others and even tried to replace this one with a larger one but after a side/side comparison between this and a Redmax that weight 10lbs more I just returned it and bought a walk-behind to compliment this one. With two people its much faster because the two units compliment each other, both doing what they do best. Any backpack is going to slow you down if you're trying to push banks of leaves 4' tall, so lugging around almost double the weight for the same performance is a waste. The pros use a tarp or a walk-behind with the backpack for beds/edging.

I have about an acre of yard surrounded by 5 acres of oaks. I've also got a 400' shaded driveway.
I started out with a rake:3 days 8-10hours a day.
Then next year a plug-in blower that promised to double as a shredder: Same amount of time, the rake was faster,

Then I bought my Solo 471. I bought it because it was quiet and I was in a neighborhood. This is the quietest leaf blower on the market. I had 4 properties for which I used to do maintence 10 our the last 13 years, two of which had as many leaves as my house. Even though its still has seen only homeowner use you could multiply that by four. I have beat the living daylights out of this thing, run straight gas through it by mistake(not me, my sister) and other than a fuel line replacement (ethanol rot) it is as good today as the day I bought it.

If you need more blower than this you don't want a backpack blower, you want an 8-13hp walk-behind blower. This is light, easy and very comfortable for 8 hours/day.

In my opinion, this recliner was a good buy. I bought it for my husband for Father's Day, because he's always wanted one. I didn't have a lot of money to spend, and quite frankly, didn't want to buy a really nice, expensive recliner, when we have little kids who will most likely spill food on it, color on it, etc. It's gotten heavy use for the last 7 months, and it's holding up very well. I love the color and fabric. It easy to move around the room, because it's pretty lightweight, and it resists stains very well.

This a great little recliner! Not too big, just right for those corner spaces where you want a chair but not one of those massive things with all the gizmos that you have to put a foot or more away from a wall to keep it from banging it up. This is also a good chair for older folks too since you don't sink 12 feet down into a pit when you sit in it! On top of that it is very comfortable to sit or recline in. (I nearly fell asleep in it when I tried it out!) It is actually much more comfortable than many of the chairs I tried out in the furniture store or department store that cost 3 or 4 times as much. The only drawback is the limited color selection but since this is a fairly nuetral color it wasn't a problem for me. The only assembly is sliding the back onto the frame and it's quite easy to do. The chair doesn't weigh a ton either yet it seems very sturdy and well made. I compared it to the $99 recliner Sears was offering at the local store and this chair is way better! The fabric and stitching on this chair is much better and delivery was free. (Sears isn't of course). The Sears promo recliner is junk next to this chair. I saved a whopping $163 over the next cheapest recliner ($259) at the local furniture store because they charge $89 for delivery and then sales tax too. If I had room for two I'd buy another!

In the process of putting together a hobby-room work space it was time to look for a pegboard to mount above my new smith table. I had previously purchased a nice 24X48 polymer unit from Lowes like the two I have mounted in my garage, but, alas, they no longer carry it for whatever reason. After utilizing the poly boards for the last 5 or so years, I'll have nothing to do with the old fiber board pegboards, so I went to Amazon to see what other options were out there...which is where I came across the Wall Control galvanized steel pegboards.

With the rolled edges and built-in mounting solution, it looked like a good option. Looking around the web a bit they had good reviews, so I decided to pick up the two panel pack with the included accessories (Wall Control 30-WGL-200GVB).

Mounting was a snap, and I have to say that the cut and folded steel panels to make the 'standoff' mounting system was great. Love that you don't have to fuss with any spacers or frame to get this up. Luckily my builders actually spaced my studs at a proper 16" apart so I was able to mount the two panels firmly into 3 studs with the included mounting screws.

Build quality is good and these are very, very solid. They will (of course) flex a bit in the middle, but they are solid and durable. The accessories and peghook system is very different from standard pegboard accessories. While the Wall Control unit will accept standard 'round hole' peg hooks and accessories, the galvanized boards also use mounting slots for their own accessories. The hooks and accessories mount very securely due to the way you have to fiddle the hooks into the slots (hard to explain, but these mounts are not going to fall out). I ended up using a combination of the Wall Control 'slot' mount accessories, plus a bunch of standard pegboard accessories and they all managed to get along just fine ;)

One plus to using these steel peg boards that I did not initially think about was the use of magnetic mounts! Of course! I have a bunch of thin 1/4 x 1/2 neodium magnets that I use around the shop for sticking tools to metal surfaces. If you've used any of these neodium magnets you know they are POWERFUL. Using a few of these I was able to tack a few extra items to the edges of the pegboard, as well as just 'stick' a few things to unused areas of the surface where a regular peg mount would not suffice.

I like these so much now that I am looking at getting another pair to expand my storage options.

My wife even likes the looks of it. Wall Control has several colors (besides unfinished steel) such as Black, Blue, and Red (along with matching accessories) if you want to mount this in more colorful hobby room, or even a kid's area.

The knife I received is not the knife shown on Amazon.
It is a very nice Shun knife, but it is not an Alton's Angles
knife. The knife shown on Amazon had Alton Brown's logo on it, this one does not. I bought this gift as a birthday present for my husband who is a huge fan of Alton Brown's. I was told by customer service the Alton's Angles knife is not available anymore. If so, Amazon should not show his image on it.

I ordered this bowl, in green, as a Christmas gift for my ice cream fanatic brother-in-law. When he opened it he questioned why he got a "dog dish?" I was so embarrassed when I saw how small it was. I guess I should have reviewed the dimensions closer before I ordered. It seemed to be of pretty good quality, but my sister-in-law has already adivise me he won't use it so I might as well return it.

This bowl is not 5 ounces. It actually holds 16 ounces of water.
It has a outside diameter of 5 inches and an inside diameter of just under
4 and 1/2 inches. We keep ours in the freezer so it is ready at all times.
Your ice cream will not melt before you finish it. Also the bowl is 2 and 1/8
inches deep. It is of very high quality.

The flag pole "kit" arrived on a Friday. I had the well made flag flying high on Sunday. Real eazy to install and looks great. If you are looking to install a flag pole of your own don't pass this one up.

I've had my flag pole for nine years. I had to increase the amount of cement at the base to keep it from sliding downhill, but it has survived many windy winters - until this one. Past years I used a smaller flag - 3 x 5.' This Sept. 11 I bought a larger, more durable cotton flag. It cost me $35 and my flagpole. Today a strong storm blew through, with high winds and lots of rain. The pole couldn't take it, and it bent at the base from the weight of the wet flag pulling on it. After nine years, I will cut it down. My flagpole may have lasted longer if I'd been smarter. I recommend you use the smaller, lighter nylon flags with yours.

I had my flag pole set up (in cement) and flying the flag without much trouble. The flag is nice and of good quality. The pole seems slightly cheap to me. When I put all the pole sections together they don't make a perfectly straight pole...so the pole leans slightly. I notice things like this but I would guess the average person would just see a nice flag pole. The pole also moves around in the wind more than I thought it would, even without the flag. Overall I would buy it again, but I think if I move and want another flag pole I would go with one that is 1 solid pole without sections.

The week after I put the pole in Hurricane Wilma came through Florida. I easily took the pole apart and left only the bottom section. It was nice being able to take it down and put it back up with little effort.

Overall I am happy with the 2 toddler beds. I have twin 2 yr old boys, so they'll put it to the maximum test. It was pretty simple to assemble, except the pre-drilled holes for the legs didn't exactly line up with the headboard and footboard, which led to a small crack in one area. I would also recommend putting a 1/4 inch plywood or fiber board across the slats to reinforce it. If they can hold up for a year, I'll be satisfied

My wife placed this order and this bed was to be for our 2 year old daughter. The slats of the head and footboard are sort of difficult to line up and get straight but when I got it just right I was prepared to put the legs on and found that there were two LEFT legs provided instead of a left AND a right. I was super frusterated and told my wife that I would make the bolts work for the bed anyway but she was absolutly right when she said that we paid for the bed, waited weeks (literally weeks) for it to arrive, and took time to unpack and get halfway thru assembly and it should come with ALL the correct parts. We emailed the company with no response what so ever, that left us with the only option but to return to Amazon. We wont be purchasing this or any product from this company again.

A great little bed! I was afraid it would look like plastic, but it's painted wood. My daughter loves it. Easy assembly. SO much smaller profile than the bulky sleigh beds. It's perfect for small rooms! The mattress support consists of slats (not a metal wire tray, as in a crib). Because of that, PLEASE NOTE -- you CANNOT use a bed skirt with this bed, although that may be true for most toddler beds. A great bed for a great price!

This greenhouse was a gift for my husband - the gardener in the family. We live in a first floor condo and our entire patio is his garden using earth boxes and other planters. The greenhouse was easy to put up - together we had it fully set up in under 15 minutes. It has held up well through winds gusting to 50 m.p.h., rain and frost. We haven't had a freeze yet. We don't intend to keep it up all winter, just far enough into the season to harvest a full fall crop of sugar snap peas and lettuce. So far we are delighted with this greenhouse and would recommend it to others.

I bought this bedding set for my second daughter after seeing it set up at Babies R Us. It was way cheaper to buy it here. It is soft and very easy to find accessories to match. The only thing is the comforter is stiff and I am afraid to wash it after reading other reviews, so I hung it on the wall instead and it looks gorgeous. It's too hot for an infant to use any way.

The first time I saw it displayed at babysrus I fell in love! OMG i was even more happy to find it cheaper at Amazon. As soon as my crib came in I set up the set and it looks just lovely and beatiful. The material is strong, of high quality, perfect creamy pink and white and chocolate brown. everything fit just right to the crib and mattress. the quilt and bumper are thick. The sheet hugs tight to the mattress. the dust ruffle is pretty long I have the bed rail set to the highest position and the ruffle almost touches the floor. the diaper stacker doesnt seem frily its just a normal stacker infact ive never seen a stacker look so classy. It really looks like it was made for a real princess. It is worth the price.

So I ordered all the small dishers available on Amazon. Sure, I'm nuts, but I have Amazon Prime, so the shipping was free. Anyway, I thought you all might like to see my analysis of them.

I added a picture of the scoops and the balls they created to the item, see the alternate pictures. The balls are made out of quite firm, straight from the refrigerator whipped white chocolate ganache. There are two scoops shown for each disher. On the left is a scoop leveled off with a knife, to the right is a slightly rounded "natural" scoop.

(from left to right, see picture) I also bought the Norpro Stainless Steel Scoop, 25MM (1.5 Teaspoon) and am keeping that, as I really wanted a very small scoop. The next smallest is also the most expensive, the smaller of the two Zeroll Universal Small EZ Disher Food/Ice Cream Scoop, Orange, followed by the Zeroll Universal Small EZ Disher Food/Ice Cream Scoop, Burgundy. They made nice scoops, but I returned the Zerolls as I found the plastic handles rather awkward to use with very stiff batter. These are followed by the Oxo Good Grips Small Cookie Scoop and the Adcraft (purchased at a local restaurant supply store), which I felt would be best for cookies or small meatballs, but if you like a larger truffle, they could be used for that too. The Oxo Good Grips Small Cookie Scoop has the most comfortable handle to use of all of them. It produced ganache balls of 14-19 grams.

I bought this for cookies, but I've ended up using it as a near-exact measure for just about everything. And at the end of its work, it happily takes a bath in the dishwasher and comes out looking like it did the day I got it.

A two-scoop drop of waffle batter in my Cuisinart classic waffle maker turns out waffles that exactly fit the round form. The sweep is close to the cup and turns out a clean scoop with no layer remaining in the cup - lower quality scoops do that a lot, at the same time tiring your thumb while this scoop uses your entire hand.

I dish out guacamole, potato filling, sometimes ice-cream (check out the Zyliss for ice-cream but when it's still unwashed, this one works ok) and even brown sugar. Basically anything that is on the firmer side of semi-solid is game for this scoop/disher.

I also have OXO's small scoop and it does an equally nice job. The larger one is more frequently used, though. If you get one you will find lots of uses, and like me, be tempted to have more than just one in your arsenal.

This cookie scoop from Oxo has improved my cookies markedly. You know how that last minute or two in the oven is critical--the difference between underdone, just right, and burnt-around-the-edges? Well, if your cookies aren't the same size to start, you're never going to hit that "just right" sweet spot. The big ones are underdone when the little ones are just right, or if the big ones are perfect, the small ones are burnt. I used to scoop cookie dough with a spoon, but this little gem of a tool is much more precise and neater to use.

Unlike cheaper scoops, the squeeze action is very smooth. It doesn't stick halfway through the squeeze, it doesn't require a lot of pressure, and the release is firm but not too firm--I used a scoop once that had a recoil like a rifle.

By the way, I have narrow hands but don't find the width of the handles to be a problem. Oxo is well known for its ergonomic designs, and this tool is no exception--I just baked 10 dozen cookies for a school event and my hands weren't tired at all. (My back is another matter!)

The dough releases well (even really sticky doughs like almond macaroons) and drops in a nice rounded ball into your hand. A quick roll to round off the bottom and it's ready for the cookie sheet.

The rated measure is 1-1/2 tablespoon (that's level, by the way) (well, of COURSE I checked for myself... I'm a baker, and that means "compulsive about measuring"). Oxo also makes a large and small scoop, but this one is the best size for the kitchen standard cookies: tollhouse, peanut butter, and the like.

I've thrown mine in the dishwasher several times with no problem. This is a good thing, because there are several crevices inside the handles and in the spring mechanism between them that could be a bit fiddly once the peanut butter dries.

Do yourself (and your cookie-eaters) a favor and pick up this gadget. I can't find a thing in the world wrong with it.

If you want a very nice alarm clock with a large display this is it. The display is hugh so it can be easily viewed from across the room and there is a dimmer setting if you want a low level of brightness. The control buttons are large and easy to use. I have owned and enjoyed and recommended Henckels knives for years; naturally, when I needed high quality steak knives, I went to them first. I have owned this set for less than 6 months. Tonight while merely cutting a pork chop, the blade that I was using snapped right through the steel, near the handle. There was no unusual force being applied; just an ordinary cut through tender meat.

I have had this happen with lesser knives, but never expected it with this set. I had read a review speaking of this problem at the time I ordered my steak knives but decided to disregard it and go with my experience. I hope you will listen and not waste your hard earned money.

I have owned 4 Henckel 4-star steak knives for more than 15 yrs. They work great. I take care of them by keeping them in a block, hand washing, and giving periodic professional sharpenings, but I dont baby them and they have fallen to the floor many times.
Thought I would add knives to my set and ignored those broken knife stories. Well, as I pulled the first new knife out of the box, it slipped, fell to the counter, and the blade snapped in two!!
The new knives have a slightly thinner and narrower blade than my old knives. The blades are also a bit more flexible and dont feel as sturdy or capable cutting meat. They would be better than a butter knife and the price seems good but I dont want the hassle of replacing them repeatedly.
I have a bunch of Henckel knives and a ton of brand loyalty, but I'm shopping other brands now.

Wanting to replace an old stereo clock radio in my bedroom, I started searching online to see what was available. Here on Amazon.com, I found a number of clock radios, and looked for one that sounded good, as well as functioned well. I soon came across two made by Sangean, a brand I was unfamiliar with. But after reading the features and reviews by others who had bought them, I decided to try this black one.

I love it! While the settings require the manual to figure out, it isn't hard to set the clock and other settings with its help. I love the clear sound of the radio. I like bass tones, and this has plenty. The Sangean doesn't have problems with a weak or fuzzy radio signal like my old clock radio did. And one feature I also love is how the display shows the name of the artists, the song name and radio station. I don't know how many times over the years a song would gain my attention after it had started playing, but I didn't know for sure who it was by or the name of the song, and was frustrated when the dj would move on after the song without saying either of those things. NOW I can look and see! The display brightness is adjustable, and while some reviewers had trouble with how bright it can be, I am not bothered at all, and am pleased with it.

The clock has different ways to set it, including Atomic Clock. I was a bit concerned with trying that because I have another wall Atomic Clock in the house, which takes spells of losing its settings for hours at a time, but so far that hasn't happened with the clock radio. It takes a while for it to set itself, but it's been rock solid ever since.

A dock for iPods - which also can charge the iPod - is included. I don't have one, so I don't have a use for that, but if I do get one sometime in the future the dock is there for me to use. I just keep the slot covered to keep out dirt.

I'd have to say that Sangean has made an excellent clock radio with lots of great features!

I have to agree w/ Greg D. in that it would not take that much to make this a world class product. While it's definitely the best one I've come across, I would have given it only 3.5 stars if it were possible.

I definitely don't like the blue display w/ blue backlight (the pictures in the item listing don't accurately portray the backlight, but believe me, it's there and it's BLUE). Even on its dimmest setting, it is way too bright for a dark bedroom. I would have much preferred a red display, which is easy to read in the dark, yet not so bright it illuminates the whole room. Fortunately, one of the brightness settings is "off", so I actually turn off the display before going to sleep. At least the design engineers were intuitive enough to program the display to come on when the alarm goes off, so I don't have to fumble around with the display button in the morning. Not a big fan of having to scroll through all the brightness settings just to get the display to turn off, but now I'm just being picky.

Another complaint is the design of the button controls. While they are actual push buttons, as opposed to membrane keys, they sit flush with the surface of the clock and are difficult to distinguish by feel in the dark (the buttons aren't illuminated when the display is turned off). Even worse, the buttons for the two alarms are stuck in the middle of a row of 5 buttons, so you actually have to look at the top of the clock to see what buttons you are pressing. Would it have really been that difficult to position these two buttons off to the side so they could be easily distinguished from the other 8 buttons on top of the clock?

Speaking of alarms, I find having to scroll through all the options just to set the alarm very cumbersome. Hopefully I'll get used to it, but I shouldn't have to feel that I need to take a remedial clock-setting class just to set my morning alarm.

The remote control is essentially useless. Even when pointing it directly at the face of the clock, a mere few feet away, it worked less than half the time. I haven't tried replacing the battery yet, but based on the other reviews, I doubt it would help.

One final issue (which has turned out to be not that big a deal): while the volume control is a dial, it is actually an incremented adjustment rather than a continuous one. My concern was that the increments would be too far apart (i.e., one increment would be too low, but the next one up would be too loud, with no "happy medium"). Like I said, it really hasn't been an issue for me, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. I do wish the lowest volume setting were just a tad lower, however.

On the plus side...
The sound quality is great for a clock radio, and it gets great reception. The ability to adjust the bass/treble is a plus.

The RDS display (station name, song title, artist, etc.) is a great feature.

Having station preset buttons (5 FM & 5 AM) is nice (although I wouldn't have complained if there were more).

The atomic clock automatic time-setting feature is very convenient.

Dual 7/5/2 alarms with the option of waking to radio, iPod or buzzer.

This clock is loaded w/ great features. It's just a shame more thought wasn't given to some of the finer details. I haven't decided yet whether or not I'm going to keep it, but if I do, I have already considered a few "work-arounds" for some of its short-comings: I've read where some people have applied window tinting material to the face of the clock to compensate for the brightness. And I've also read where people have used adhesive rubber "dots" (for lack of a better term) to make some of the buttons more identifiable in the dark.

Everything about this clock radio is terrific, until you lay your head down on the pillow and you realize you cannot see the clock! I had to make a 3 inch wedge platform to raise the back in order to have the lcd screen visible to me laying down. Also, the brightness control only goes one way, so if you pass by the setting you want, you must go all the way around to set it properly.

We purchased this toddler bed after researching on the internet several different brands and stores. This is the best quality for the price. It cost less than several plastic beds. It's real wood and easy to assemble. Our daughter loves it.

I received the bed within the time frame stated, the bed was in great condition and all of the parts, except the hardware were shipped. I initially gave the order a satisfactory review. That was, until I had to contact Orbelle and Amazon about the missing hardware. I called Orbelle and was rudely told that I needed to call Amazon about shipping the missing hardware...Fine. After tracking down the contact number for Amazon, I contacted them about the missing hardware just to be told that the bed was no longer made (I don't really care if the bed is obsolete..they make other furniture and should have the darn hardware!). I was told by Amazon that I would have to pack the bed back up and send it back to them...Which completely makes no sense at all! All I needed were the screws and bolts! I won't order any other furniture from Amazon in the future...I'll just go to Babies R Us to pick up my bed and be done with it. I hope this review helps someone else.

So happy with this purchase. We bought the natural color for our son who is 21 months. So sturdy and well-made for a toddler bed. Our daughter has a Dream On Me toddler bed and THIS ONE is definitely nicer! It will definitely hold up for a while! The mattress boards have their own slots to make them much sturdier than the standard toddler bed. Definitely recommend this toddler bed!

The print was not aligned properly in the "frame" created by the binding on the edges. Was only off a little, so I could live with it. The edges had a thin wedge of beige peeking out next to the binding where it should have been black. So if you wanted everything to look 'perfect', they weren't. At least the batch I got was not. This might not be a problem when you order them. But I liked the print, the heft of them, and the latex backing, which did not smell the way such backings sometimes do.

Yellow Dragonfly Tiffany Style Table Lamp Review by Missing Colorado "ELO FSO" (Washington, DC)

My wife and I were quite happy when we ordered this lamp. The photos looked beautiful and it was exactly what we were looking for. However, the problems started with the unpacking: the lampshade was coated in a oily feeling substance that made the lamp feel greasy. Second, the shade is not, as directly advertised, made out of glass. The pieces are clearly made out of plastic and when the lamp is turned off, have an ugly and dark look. I have to admit that the lamp is beautiful when turned on at night, but it is not attractive the rest of the day. This is clearly false advertising.

Yellow Dragonfly Tiffany Style Table Lamp Review by Don Watt (San Diego)

This lamp is made by a company called "1908 Studios", and was shipped in a large box with two Styrofoam pieces custom made to cradle the lamp securely during shipping. I don't think breakage would ever be a worry when buying this product. The lamp is made (Of course) in China, and when I first picked up the shade, it felt so light, I was afraid the pieces were made of plastic, but they are actually made of glass as described. The measurements given are exact as well; 16" diameter shade, and total height just under two feet tall, including the finial at the top. The lamp was easy to assemble; just the base, the shade, finial, and one part between to base and shade. No tools were required. Each dragonfly (six total) on the shade are made of red glass pieces even though the photo on Amazon shows yellow pieces. I actually like the red look better. Also, the photo on Amazon doesn't really show the head of the dragonflies; but they are there with prominent round red eyes. I really like the look of the lamp when lit up. The lights each have their own pull-chain too, so you can turn them on and off individually. The base is heavy, making the lamp stable. My only minor complaint about the light is the base is made out of an casted pot metal, and the seams were ground down during the manufacturing process a little too aggressively, so you can see the irregularities in the base. The bronze looking finish is pretty convincing though, and overall I'm very happy with this lamp and would definitely recommend it. I bought it to give as a Christmas present.

I bought one can (22oz) of Resolve High Traffic Foam to clean a 6x4 area rug that had been in my daughter's bedroom. My daughter is 9 and has had this rug for a few years. It has quite a few spots and stains on the area that was showing - the "high traffic" area (part was under her bed). I didn't expect Resolve to clean the stains, but I was hoping that it might make a dent in the dirt spots on the rug. I used the "self cleaning" method to clean the rug. First, I was surprised when the can started to run out of foam before I had sprayed the whole rug. The can says "large area carpet cleaner" no less than 3 places on the can. It says that it will cean a carpeted area of 168 sq', but this rug is only 30 sq', and it ran out. I followed the directions exactly and sprayed lightly with a side to side movement - even if I was a little heavy on the spray, I should have been able to cover this rug 3x. Not so. So, I wait the 15 minutes, and then vacuum - I really noticed no difference whatsoever. Yes, now the rug smells like carpet cleaner - so what, I could have gotten that with Febreez. I don't think this rug is one iota cleaner than when I started, especially since you have to vacuum before you start anyway. Maybe I should have used the "large area carpet cleaning" method, but I bought this specifically because I wasn't going to have to scrub the rug myself in order to get it clean. Now I will have to do that anyway, so at lease I don't have to do it twice. I kind of thought that carpet cleaners were a sham before I bought this, now I know they are.

I bought a can of this yesterday. When I tried to spray it on the carpet I'm not sure if it's just this can that's faulty, but it comes out in an extremely uneven spray (spots of foam hitting the carpet) for a couple seconds and then it'll start just foaming a big glob at the spray tip. Read the instructions several times to make sure I was using it correctly.

Because of how it's coming out I can clearly see where it's cleaning, which it cleans GREAT. Couldn't ask for better in the department. Unfortunately because of how it's dispensing there is my nasty gross carpet with nice clean white spots that makes it look even worse. Where it's clean is very impressive. Not sure if I got a defective can but if it normally dispenses the foam evenly I would definitely rate this five stars!!!

If you have doubts about purchasing this because of price, don't worry about it! We've had this Kenmore microwave forever and it's practically all we use for baking or cooking food we would normally have to cook in the oven. Chicken, beef, onion rings, cookies, biscuits, whatever else comes out perfectly cooked when you cook them in the microwave drawer. You can't use the microwave and the drawer at the same time though. Buy it, try, you'll love it!

My old microwave was just old and I didn't like it. So I started looking for a new one. I came across this one and was instantly intrigued. I also got it on sale at $139 and it was completely worth it. I read some reviews about some plastic thing melting on different websites, but after owning this microwave for 1 and 1/2 years, using the "pizza oven" literally everyday, it has functioned flawlessly from day one. Also, there is no plastic piece above the oven drawer. I don't know what that other person is referring to because the drawer and everything around it is metal.

Notice I put pizza oven in quotes? I'll get to that in a second. This thing, as a pizza oven, makes frozen pizza just like it should be made. However, one day I didn't have a lot of money and I ordered a cheap pizza from a local pizza place. I don't know how to explain it any better than this, but the pizza was droopy and limp, and just didn't taste very good. So I had a slice or two and put the rest in the fridge. So the next day I got hungry again but didn't feel like going to the store so I decided to throw this crappy pizza in the pizza oven and heat it up. Well, after cooking the pizza in this oven, the dough was crisp and the pizza didn't sag when I picked it up. When I bit into it, the dough had a perfect crisp crunch. Not a hard, dried out crunch. A perfectly toasted crunch. And the pizza, seemed to at least, taste all around better. It was so much better that I order these crappy pizzas and just put them in the fridge and eat them later.

Also, this oven can be used for more than just pizza. You won't be cooking a turkey in it, but that's only because it won't fit. It cooks chicken breasts perfectly. And they are the juiciest chicken breasts ever! You can throw them in frozen or thawed and it will cook them perfectly. It almost seems impossible to screw it up.

I use this "pizza" oven for anything that will fit in it. Because the food tastes great and it seems almost impossible to ruin anything I put in there.

The only negative thing about this unit, and it's not really a big deal, is that you can't use the oven and the microwave at the same time.

If you need a new microwave and make little things in the oven or would like to but don't feel like heating up your stove for small things, get this microwave. You will not be sorry. I'm thinking about getting another one and storing it in case this one ever breaks! Lol!

Oxford 48 Inch White Two Storage Drawer Writing Desk, TWO-DRAWER, WHITE Review by Frazee (Illinois, USA)

My desk arrived quickly and undamaged about two weeks ago now, and was very easy to set up. As a previous review stated, the merlot-colored desk is definitely more red in actuality than is pictured in amazon's picture (and the Home Decorator's catalog). But so far, I still find the actual color pretty, if a little surprising. And the quality of the desk itself, I think, is much better than what I was seeing at Office Depot and the like. Keep in mind the depth of the lower shelf is not enough to put a photo box on as pictured in one of the other colors, without its sticking over the edge a couple inches. Also, this desk is the standard height of about 30", and I'm still trying to decide if that is too high for me to be comfortable typing on a laptop. I might have to spring for a plug-in keyboard - but that is not the desk's fault.
Also, it took an extra day for my order confirmation to show up on Home Decorator's website after I got the e-mail saying it
was there. So don't be concerned if this happens.
Overall, I am pleased.

I realize my review will be in direct contrast to the other reviews, but want to warn potential buyers that their desk may be shipped broken. I was excited to be getting this desk today. UPS delivered it in two boxes. The boxes were in perfect shape; however, upon opening the main box I noticed staples sticking out, drawer glides broken off, cracks in the side of the desk and then pulled it up to look at the top and it was cracked. There is no way this could have happened after shipping. I believe some packers knowingly shipped a defective product. I'm allegedly receiving UPS labels to return the desk and then get a refund - I'll let you know how that goes. I will not buy from this company again.

This machine is utterly fantastic, period. I have wasted through endless Cuisinart Grind & Brew machines to no avail and spent way too much on Starbucks. This literally makes the perfect cup of coffee or espresso. The milk frother creates perfect cream. I set it to 'wake up' before I do so its ready to go. Its as easy as pie to clean and the machine tells you to do everything- add water, beans, clean out grounds, etc. Its even Energy Saver. What else could you want?

We purchased this coffee machine after many long hours of research. At first it seemed wonderful, about a month into it the frothXpress stopped working like it should. Three months into it, we didn't realize at the time, it was leaking. The machine was near our sink, there was water puddled up many times and thought the kids were forgetting to wipe down the counters after the dishes were done. (I did apologize to the kids when we figured out what the real problem was!) Finally, after 8 months the leak was so bad, you would fill the tank and within a minute the entire counter would be flooded. The next morning the machine wigged out, spitting water out when it was supposed to be pulling a shot. The motor sounded like it was working overtime, I tried to unplug it and let it sit for a few hours, when I plugged it back in it did the same thing. Luckily I purchased it at Costco and they took it back. We did order the J6, I'm hoping we just got a dud and the next one is better! The coffee was amazing, every time we made a cup it smelled like a coffee shop in our house!

I had a Capresso C1500 for about 6 years. It started leaking and making weak coffee. So, I got the J5 as an upgrade/replacement. I have now own the J5 for about 2 months. It is definitely an improvement over the C1500.

Pros
- It makes really hot beverages
- Two types of frothing method: 1. Traditional way; 2. FrothXpress way
- Programmable everything (e.g. water temp, strength of coffee, amount of water..etc)
- Self-rinsing before startup and before shutdown.
- Convenience.

Cons
- Cheap Plastic Shell (Especially for a machine costing $1800!!)
- Extracting the espresso too fast. (But this is with all Super-autos)
- Does not have a traditional steam wand. (the wand came with it is not really a traditional one you find with other machines)
- Cleaning the wand properly after use. (You really have to soak it and make sure the little holes on the wand are clean. Or else it will not steam properly)

I think maybe because now I am a bit more experienced in making espresso and understand the details that goes into it that I find I am looking for more in a machine. Yes, this is a very good machine that produces good coffee/espresso. But now I am wanting to go a step higher and get a "God" shot of espresso. The J5 (actually all super-autos) will not give you that.

What this machine will give you is convenience. The shots are hot and are good. It will give you good froth but not the true micro-foams you find in traditional semi-auto machines. I still love the machine and feel that the espresso it produces is better than 80% of the retail coffee shops.

I would recommend this machine to people who are into coffee/espresso and knows at least that good espresso does not need to taste bitter. This machine will satisfy probably 90% of the coffee drinkers out there. For the other 10%, the coffee snobs, this machine probably will not do. It does not produce "tiger stripes" shots (at least I am not able to do it). You can not control tamping. The steam wand is not traditional and in my opinion not that powerful. Does this mean I am a coffee snob?!?

But really, I can not complain too much it is still a wonderful machine. I am starting to contemplate more of a prosumer type of espresso machine. One that is semi-automatic and you really need the end user's experience/input to produce that "god" shot (e.g. Tiger Stripes crema). Well, I will use this until it dies. Then I will go the next step....

Let me start off by saying, for gaming i don't think there is a better headset out there. The virtual 7.1 works flawlessly and the mic on this thing is crystal clear. Its relatively comfortable, although I start to sweat around my ears around the 1 hour mark. Also if you are considered one with a small head, i might go try it on first. I have what you call a large head with some hair and i have this thing cranked all the way down. Works for me but not so sure about others.

Music - Very mediocre. i know it is optimized for GAMING but i still feel it fell short in this department. don't expect to be blown away or even satisfied if you want to listen to music a lot on headphones.

All in all its a solid headset, and is well worth the money if you are into gaming.

UPDATE:so it has been 4 days and the right side of the headphones has stopped working. i am very surprised/annoyed because i handled these things like a baby and still went out on me. i thought it was something funky with vista so i turned on the "flip sound" so the left side plays on the right and visa versa and no sound still. plugged it into a friends computer and same thing. not very happy that i spent $100 on these and they fail within such a short amount of time.

I always use headphones when at my home computer (which is a lot). When I'm gaming I also use a cheap mic. I was looking for a solution to avoid two cords dangling from my head and getting tangled up, while still getting good performance from both devices. While the 5Hv2 solved my problems with cords, the sound just wasn't quite good enough.

The mid-tones are well defined and clear, the highs are okay if perhaps not sharp enough, but the bass tones were a real let down. I have no taste at all for cans with sloppy overdriven bass, but these just sounded flat.

I didn't keep these long enough to really speak to comfort but they seemed alright. There were just little tight and the padding a bit harder and narrower than I'm used to, but I was able to wear them for a couple hours without discomfort.

These headphone should be adequate for most people gaming with them, or those who only use their headphones when they can't use regular speakers. The sound is better than some other integrated headset/mics I've used, and I really like how the retractable mic works.

I'm no audiophile, but sound quality dose matter to me, and I use my headphone a lot. If your like me, especially if you ever listen to music at all, you'll want something better, even if your still being strangled by all the cords hanging from your head.

As advertised, this is gaming headset. Customers who purchased this headset for strictly for FPS game should be very satisfied. For customer who is consider purchasing this product thinking they can sacrifice other sounds of music, video play, etc thinking sacrifice is very minimal, think again. This headset is not for everyday use. I read the reviews and knew headset was horrible reproducing sounds outside of gaming but took a risk thinking how bad can it be. It's really bad. You hear almost no bass in music and have to turn EQ on always. But turning bass on will make Speakers in headset distort playing music with heavy bass in any volume. Watching movies on PC with headset is little better but voice and rest of the sounds feel very distant. It feels like movie is playing inside a small hall. This is same problem for playing games other than FPS. Any games with nice background music or cinematic trailers have to suffer its quality. For $$ you paid for this headset, not sure why you have to sacrifice any sound. Headset itself, mic and built quality are good. I been using it for about 2 month and hope it will last forever. Headset is not for everyday use but playing COD4, CS:source, Crysis is at its best. Customers thinking minimal sacrifice, do not buy this headset. This is FPS game headset ONLY.

The LCD looks nice. I am using this with my Mac Mini, using a Display Port Cable (and a mini-DP to DP adapter on the mini).

The LCD Stand is State of the Art. I have never seen anything like this. I was thinking i would need a Wall LCD support, but i would not change this Stand ever.

I would recommend this product to anyone on a budget, looking for some nice LCD.

I gladly overpaid $247 for this monitor which I previously bought from Dell for $209. Dell has since discontinued it as they have all monitors that swivel to portrait orientation. Even at the higher price it is an excellent choice. I frequently enjoy movies in full screen and the quality is very satisfying. For work, I edit documents. It is often useful to swivel the monitor so that a whole page may be viewed at once. For those who suffer eye fatigue, I've found the quality of white on the page has a pleasing softness; I don't tire easily, even looking at this monitor for hours.
What people say about off-axis viewing is true, there is noticeable shift, like looking through a screen door. This is less prominent the further you sit from the screen. I use shims beneath the base to maintain a right angle with my line of sight.
I find the almost unlimited adjustability nearly priceless. As far as I know, this is the largest swiveling monitor commercially available. I think it is a mistake for Dell to withdraw these classy models in favor of their childish looking piano-black monitors with smaller, less stable stands. The P2310H is truly professional grade and meets the mark.

Bought this netbook for our upcoming trip to Europe, immediately tried to install Windows 7 RC on it, worked PERFECTLY. I highly recommend buying the 2GB RAM upgrade (I went with the Amazon recommended 2GB 667mhz crucial module), best $20 you'll ever spend. All drivers installed fine on Win7, Aero is enabled, everything is very snappy. Can't wait to take this thing on the road.

I honestly don't know where to start with this review of the ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-PU1X-BU netbook that I bought. I have read all 152 previous reviews on Amazon.com and a whole bunch of others that I found on computer oriented Internet sites. The four and five star ratings far outnumbered the negative ones, but it was the couple of dozen unenthusiastic reviews that scared the heck out of me. I delayed ordering the computer because of the horror stories of bad batteries, faulty chargers and blue screen crashes.

Eventually, I noticed that most of these critical reviews referred to the battery or to the charging brick and most of those were describing what could have easily been mistakes made by the owners of the machine. They didn't attach the power cord properly or the charging time was too short and some didn't seem to understand how to determine when the battery was fully charged. Some complainers faulted the battery life, but didn't take into account what was running or turned on when using the computer. The battery is drained more quickly when the computer is operating with all rockets running. In other words, when I subtracted the operator associated problems or misconceptions from the difficulty with the Asus hardware there were only a few legitimate complaints about the machine. In reading reviews of other machines it was obvious that they had their share of detractors too. One gripe I can verify is how the Asus Eee PC lid is a fingerprint magnet. It really is.

I researched about all of the netbooks on the market today (Acer, HP, Toshiba, Dell, Samsung and of course the Asus Eee PC line. Having purchased one of the first Eee mini-laptops (the 7 inch 701 with a Linux operating system) when they first came out I have been impressed with the quality and dependability of the Asus product. I suppose that is one reason why I kept gravitating to the ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-PU1X-BU as I explored the reviews for other brands--in spite of the warnings about unworkable battery chargers and inoperative batteries I bought the Asus Eee PC.

Frankly after exploring the field, I concluded that most of the netbooks for sale today are not all that much different in features, price or even quality. They all have built-in cameras, 10.1 inch screens, Windows XP operating systems, a plethora of USB ports, a card reader, WiFi and most have a few color choices. The main difference is probably the ten hour battery that is unique and ships with the ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-PU1X-BU. All of the other netbooks had three or six hour batteries on board. I wanted the netbook to use on long airplane flights so the long life battery was a real plus for me. I also liked the idea of being able to restore the computer with an fn-key instead of relying on a CD to come out of hiding in case of big trouble. The Asus Eee PC is sleek and that big battery doesn't stick out on the back edge like the other netbook high capacity batteries do. The `P' model of the Asus Eee PC has Bluetooth built in and a nice cushy zippered sleeve to protect it while traveling.

I have been using my Asus Eee PC 1005HA just as it came out of the box--no memory upgrade, no Windows 7 and no additional software. I find it just about perfect the way it is. You should understand that this is not a full featured laptop squeezed into a smaller and manageable size. The keyboards are 92% the size of those found on a standard computer and the machines run a little hot. Those 10.1 inch screens are a bit cramped if several toolbars have been turned on. The main thing you might miss on the netbooks is a CD/DVD drive. There ain't one. However, an external CD/DVD drive can be purchased for about $65. Anyhow, a netbook is meant to be a small back to basics mini-computer for word processing, e-mail, Web surfing and other fundamental computing, but don't expect to play a lot of high end games or edit photographs on it. Once you see a netbook in your future, the ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-PU1X-BU is worth a look.

OK, here is my feeling about the ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-PU1X-BU after two weeks of use: I like it a lot; the battery and charger problems I feared so much have not materialized. I am satisfied with my choice and recommend the machine over all of the others I researched. If something really bad happens to my new Asus Eee PC as I use it longer, I will edit this review and let you know about it. I am still a little worried about that battery thing.

P.S. I used a thin coating of guitar polish/wax buffed onto the lid and the finger print problem was diminished considerably.

FOLLOW-UP:

I thought it is about time to update my earlier review of the Asus Eee PC 1005HA netbook. I may have left you with some question about the battery and charging system--I am sorry about that. I no longer have any qualms about batteries or chargers. After almost two months of using my new Eee PC 1005HA I can report no problem with the battery, bringing the battery to a full charge (realistically about 9 � hours) or the charging brick itself. Flawless is a word that comes to mind.

While I am at it, I might as well report complete satisfaction with the Eee PC 1005HA build. It is a well made netbook and everything fits and works. It is sleek and solid. It is a little bit on the heavy side, but I don't have a problem with that. The keyboard is large enough to accommodate touch typing with ease. The machine boots up quickly. It has plenty of memory (1 GB) on board for how I use it--e-mail, web surfing and word processing with the Microsoft WORKS program which is included.

The Windows XP operating system has functioned perfectly. I set up my home network WiFi connection with the netbook easily, quickly and effectively. The Bluetooth feature worked very well too. Some of the Asus special on screen controls, update and expand features built into the machine have not been all that useful and some border on being advertisements for buying Asus stuff. Those things are not obtrusive and can be easily ignored.

I have added the ASUS USB 2.0 8x DVD Writer External Optical Drive to my little machine, but have not really used it very much. I got it just in case I wanted to add some software to my netbook or perhaps store some data on disks. Frankly, making that rather spendy purchase for "just in case" reasons is probably rather silly, but I did it anyhow.

The Asus Eee PC 1005HA remains a fingerprint magnet in spite of my occasional clean up with guitar polish. I guess having to live with some smudges on the shiny lid is not a big deal.

I still recommend the Asus Eee PC 1005HA after using it for awhile. I am convinced that this netbook is the best one on the market today.

Update some more:

I just solved the fingerprint problem that exists with the ASUS Eee PC 1005HA shiny surface lid. And at the same time, added a layer of protection for the machine.

I bought and installed an mCover� CLEAR Hard Shell Sleeve Carrying Case for the Asus Eee PC 1005 Series Netbook. I acquired the mCover hard shell from Amazon.com for about $15 as protection for my netbook while traveling. When I got the shell attached (a simple process) I immediately noticed the lid no longer picked up fingerprints. The plastic shell simply does not show prints and the appearance of the netbook is not changed very much. It is just like adding a second skin.

Update even more:

My face is really red today. The mCover shell I bragged about turned out to be a loser--not a winner. The bottom half of the shell became impossible to install and usless when one of the attachment tabs broke off. I am very sorry about recommending that plastic sleeve. I still have the top part of the mCover on my Eee PC, but the bottom section went in the trash. By the way, my ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-PU1X-BU Netbook is still the best there is. I continue to like it a lot.

My previous netbook was an Acer Aspire, which by comparison was crap. I think the one I got was probably a fluke, but I had problems with it from day 1. Not so with ny Asus. This computer is very nice. It is fast booting up, it is fast in ordinary operations, and performs most functions flawlessly. The only thing I would change, and will, is the amount of memory. My personal belief is that there is no such thing as too much memory. At times, some functions would be faster with 2 gigs, instead of the 1 gig that comes with this computer. If the extra hundred dollars isn't a problem,this is the machine to buy. For whatever reaon, this computer seems to be faster accessing and loading web pages, and downloading e-mail as well. That is a definite plus. I am spoiled, having been on cable internet for almost 10 years, This Asus computer is the perfect compliment to cable internet. Two other things that make this a superior computer are battery life, and the LED backlighting for the screen. The backlighting is definitely a factor in the longer battery charge life, but it also makes for a very nice bright picture. When I leave the house, I leave my computer on standby all day, and use it many hours throughout the day. I've never gotten down as low as 10% remaining charge. For the average user the battery charge life will be a plesant surprise. I am very happy with my Asus, and expect to be using it a long time. ****UDATE: I have now had my Asus long enough to have a better overall impression of the machine's qualities. While a bit slower than my desktop with it's dual-core 64 processors, and 4 gigs of RAM, it is more than adequate for most purposes for which I use it. I've added the 2-gig memory module, which was a snap, and that has had 2 results: faster overall performance, and shorter charge life on the battery. All things considered, I think the extra RAM is worth the shortened charge life. At home I now have my Asus connected to my desktop's keyboard and monitor. Why? Oklahoma summers are hot, and my desktop would heat my room up an extra 4 or more degrees. To lessen the heat, and save on high energy bills, my Asus is doing most everything that I ordinarily would do with my desktop. About the only time I use the desktop during the hot weather is when I want to burn a movie, or write software to a USB-drive for installation on this Asus machine. Bottom line: I have no regrets about having bought this machine, and I can easily recommend it to anyone else. It is a solid little machine!

While being a huge acer fan myself, i needed to get my father a new laptop, which wasn't easy considering he's picky. Also he really needs no more than a regular Pentium Dual Core, but most of those models are cheaply made and cost almost the same. So after a bit of browsing around at Office Depot, from Toshiba to Hp, i finally took notice of the MSI's beautiful screen which can be a good selling point because its right there in front of you, and by comparison blew the other screens away. It was very vibrant and straight up close looking to the screen itself, and not blurred or washed out looking. Also MSI have been making motherboards, graphics card and the like for many years. Particularly for Acer Desktops. Why do i say the computer is in between. Well upon start up it installs a few programs that should already be pre-installed, and it already has them selected, so why even bother asking if you want to install it or not? Odd. Also its very very slow and quirky on boot up, especially boasting its I5 processor. On the system windows rating it only gets a 6.8, when it should be around 7.1 being that i use to have a computer with and I3 that had that rating. Here are some pro's and cons also.

1. Solid build, the exterior on the top looks a lot like a Toshiba, laptop itself is black, made well and has a strange touch pad with small bumps on it.
2. Great Sound Quality, although i have an Acer Aspire laptop that sounds far superior, just less power in the processor, also a much larger screen, all for 599$.
3. Screen still looks good, but not as good as the cheaper MSI's that were next to it in O.D.
4. Has an eject button above the keyboard for the dvd tray(that didn't work on first boot up)it wasn't until i rebooted the computer that it worked, a defect? Perhaps.
5. Keyboard feel is nice, but i have felt better. Solid build though.
6. There is an annoying little start up widget sort of menu that pops up on the bottom of your screen allowing you to have quick buttons, making it faster to view IE, Calculator, Notepad, etc. Cute, with bouncing icons, but seems to slow down the computer, and is VERY pointless.
7. As i said for an I5 its pretty sluggish in some areas.

So in ending this review i may actually encourage dad to take it back and get the HP, since he's a fan of them. I myself hate HP, but oh well. For some reason the lack of sales, reviews, and information on reliability of MSI, makes it feel uncomfortable as an investment. And with some of the things i mentioned, i just don't see it outlasting the other computers i've had. All the Acers i've owned have been awesome, and i was about to give him this one and take the MSI, but something just said nope, stick with what you know. So for those or you who want something different that does have good quality, and potential don't let me stop you from purchasing it. It seems nice, but is quirky, and i'm just not sure of a brand that never advertises and no one buys. So even though its nice, i think i'll get him the HP, with the I3 and a larger screen.

Well, I bought this computer from Frys, $704.26. It will cost $50 less after rebate. However, it's 1 month now since the day I sent out my rebate form, and still nothing comes. It seems like MSI won't honer their rebate.
Despite that, it's still a good laptop. Light weight, slim, ok sound quality, i5-quad-core, and a lot more.
The only con are the keyboard and the look. Sometime it just miss some letter when typing. The outlook just too simple.
MSI isn't a well know brand for laptop user, but for desktop user, its mother-board are very well know, as well as graph card. So I hope this laptop will last for long.

Prime packing, sturdy solid metal body, easy drive access by a removable removable tray, low noise and heat, fast and reliable connection. And includes with all the cables, along with extra screws for mounting and the case. Some people complain about external power suply units, but it's much better that the heat dissipates away from the drive. Mounted a 1 Tb drive easily and was using it in less than 10 min. Best case I ever bought, and although a bit pricy, it's worth every penny.

I like the mouse overall but the choices for programming the buttons is somewhat limited. I need to have the second button or the right click button which in a lefthanded mouse is actually on the left. Anyway this button is NOT programmable. The only option is Right Click or you can swap the buttons. I need to be able to program this button to be a "keystroke" and that be "Enter" as this is very handy and helpful. In AutoCAD it is wonderful to be able to pick and hit return on the mouse by toggling or quickly picking between the two fingers. This is also handy in a lot of other programs so you don't have to double click so much that you get carpal tunnel or some other injury. I have informed Logitech about this but whether they fix it only time will tell. I sure hope so but I also doubt it but I am still hoping a bunch.

Lefties of the world unite, at least, around this mouse. I am ambidextrous but have always preferred to mouse left, settling on less than satisfactory solutions now that most mice are more or less ergonomically shaped. The Logitech MX 610 is crafted for lefties (and feels quite odd in the right hand, by the way). The feel and function are terrific. It comes with email and instant message notification lights, the timing of which may be varied - not particularly useful IMHO but do not detract from otherwise excellent function. Heavy enough to feel solid, light enough to allow quick use, overall, a "just right" (or should that be, "just left") product.

For Lefties, this mouse gets the cats MEOW! I bought 3 other Left Hand Mice before this one came out. Those others were a major disappointment with many faults. The Logitech MX610 never fails to activate right away, has the best battery life of any I've tried. The auto off feature works great. And this MX610 left Hand mouse is just the right size to fit you hand perfectly. Scrolling up-down, sideways, forward-back, e-mail all work very well. Convient size for desktop or laptop. The new MacBook Pro has some significant advantages over the old one. The new case design is attractive and solid. The keyboard is crisp and responsive. The hard drive is as easy to access as on every other notebook on the market (as opposed to requiring complete disassembly of the machine with the old model). The new NVIDIA 9600 graphics adds a lot of 3D horsepower.

There are some significant drawbacks as well. The video output for connecting an external monitor is only compatible with one monitor at the moment. Connecting to the kinds of monitor that people actually own will require the purchase (and carrying) of an additional $30 adapter. Or two, if you need to connect to both VGA and DVI monitors.

The new MacBook Pro actually has two video adapters; the NVIDIA 9400 and 9600. The system uses the 9400 by default, which is less powerful than the 9600 but uses less power. The 9400 is an integrated adapter without its own memory; it uses 256MB of the system RAM. The problem is that it uses that 256MB RAM even when the system is using the 9600 adapter. In other words, these laptops effectively have 256MB less RAM than the previous generation.

The new display is very clear and sharp, at least as good as the previous generation's screen. It is also covered with a pane of glass and is very, very shiny; much shinier and more reflective even than the previous generation's 'glossy' screen. If the lighting conditions in your work environment are exactly right, the screen looks wonderful. If there is any light behind or above you, the screen acts as a mirror and the glare and reflections can be very annoying.

The new MacBook Pro is a wonderful computer, but it is not a clear upgrade from the previous version and the mirror finish of the new screen means that no one should buy this computer without actually trying it first.

I am a long-time IT professional with enough certifications (mostly Microsoft) to make a large can of alphabet soup, and this is my first Mac. I had played with a few of them here and there years ago, and never saw what people liked about them. The closest I ever came was back in the late '90s when I was tempted to run Windows on a PPC, but just about the time I was going to do that, Microsoft pulled their support for it from Windows, and that ended that.
So, I was anti-Mac for quite a few years. All that has changed. I began to believe in the OS when Apple began to base it on Unix. A solid, time proven technology that I trust. The big thing that changed it all for me is VMWare. For 70 dollars, I have the ability to run Vista Ultimate, XP, and Ubuntu Linux on OSX. My Vista Ultimate is my previous Dell (not a slouchy box, either). It's a complete clone of my old computer. Windows still shows it being a Dell! Spooky. Windows had it a 3.6 rating, and a retest of the VM on my Mac shows a 3.6 rating. That alone earns 4 of the stars I give this machine.
Now, here's another reason why I'm so happy. I put Office 2008 on the MBP, and I seldom have any reason to even start the Vista VM anymore. The last two times I did, it was only because I miss the great Vista solitaire game. That earns the fifth star -- I'm not "homesick" in the least. I think I'll be staying right here on planet Mac. As a matter of fact, I got a MacBook for my wife, I liked this MBPro MB471LL/A so much! Bought her the MB403LL/A.
I use it with an external monitor about 90 percent of the time, so the glare of the glossy screen hasn't been an issue for me. The built in screen is gorgeous, and I've not been in a situation where glare became an issue.
This machine is truly desktop horsepower in a gorgeous carved aluminum notebook chassis. I'm a very happy camper.

I just purchased the pro yesterday at my local Apple Store. I have had it for less then 24hrs so far, and I love it. I was going to get the high end Macbook, and then at the last minute decided on the low end Pro upgraded with 4GB of Memory. I am so glad I did. It is so fast, and powerful. The display is what made me make the final choice. It is still very portable. It weighs the same as my black macbook, and is thin. It would be very easy to just to throw in my backpack and be on my way. Also the firewire. It was going to be the easiest way to transfer all my data from my old black macbook to the pro. It only took and hour and a half, and I have all my information. I didn't have to do anything, just started it up and began to play. I didn't have Leopard on my old one, and I love it so far. It is easy and the graphics and set up are great. I love the stacks options, and the lighted keyboard. I also love how the controls for the dashboard, screen brightness, keyboard brightness, and dvd controls, are right on the keyboard. I was in between which laptop to get also because I am a casual gamer. However, the salesman did tell me that I could still play some of the games on the Macbook. The display alone is what I am enjoying the most. It is definitely worth the extra money to get the pro. Highly Recommended!
I didn't get it from Amazon, or order it. I wanted to look at the computer before I purchased it. From reading all the horror stories on the web about people receiving damaged, or broken laptops from both the Apple Store and other retail stores. I would also recommend if you are going to get a mac, go to the Apple Store itself and get one if possible. They are so helpful, and usually give you some kind of deal when purchasing one. They will also set it up for you, but transferring all your information to your new computer is very easy to do by yourself.

I previously owned an EVGA SuperClocked GTX 470 and I used their Step-Up Program to trade in for this EVGA GTX 570... was it worth it? Definately!!! It's a no brainer!
While the GTX 470 was great card - the GTX 570 blows it out of the water in terms of Frame rate and power!

Pros:
1. Runs Cooler than the GTX 470
2. Runs quiter than the GTX 470
3. I noticed a huge increase in FPS in games with Resolutions of 1920x1200
4. It can play Crysis & Crysis WarHead at all the highest settings - and still runs cool under load! Partnered with MSI Afterburner I never saw the GTX 570 exceed 70 to 75 degrees Celsius... I've seen the GTX 470 go over 100 Degrees Celsius and the GPU fan sounded like a blow dryer...
5. EVGA Lifetime Warranty and AWESOME EVGA Customer Service!
6. Funny people keep calling me a hacker in First Person Shooting games!

Cons:
1. I cannot use the GTX 570 to blow dry my hair
2. It is not hot enough to keep my room warm during cold nights
3. I no longer can use my PC to fry an egg.
4. This card is HUGE - it was longer than my GTX 470 and I barely had a few millimeters in my PC case for it!

I recommend if you are planning to buy a Nvidia Graphics Card - buy it from EVGA... they have a 90 day step-up program where you can trade for a new higher graphics card, and they give you credit for what you paid for the card (if purchased from an authorized EVGA re-seller) and you just pay the difference for the new card-just make sure you register your card and invoice. Well, I did not want to spend $300 + dollars on a new Graphics Card when I just bought my EVGA GTX 460 4 months ago. But my addiction to technology and having the latest and greatest PC equipment won me over and I bought this incredible card. This card easily rates a 7.9 in Windows Experience Index.

First off, it's so much longer than my EVGA GTX 460, but I had no problems with installing it in my Cooler Master HAF X 942 Full Tower case. It uses 2 6 PIN PCI-E Power connectors just like the GTX 460. I'm running a 775 Watt Thermaltake Power supply, so there is no issues with power. Make sure you have at least a 550 Watt or higher. I would recommend at least 600 - 650 if you have multiple drives.

I installed Crysis 2 and was floored by the quality and smoothness of the game play. I mean it looks flawless. I have Crysis 2 for the Xbox 360 and the graphics on the Xbox pale in comparison to what this card produces. I'm half way through Crysis on Xbox and will be starting the campaign over on my PC it looks and runs so good.

My System's Total Windows Experience Index it 7.8. All my components rate 7.9 except the CPU which is 7.8

Have absolutely no complaints about the product. A monkey could use it and it does what it says. My complaint lies in whoever boxed it. MAYBE the casing itself. When I received mine, the insides of the hard drive had shifted so that the plastic back (where cords plug in, etc)had broken away from the rest. The screws were still screwed in. Either those screws were tightened too much, stressing the plastic or the product wasn't handled carefully enough when it was boxed. The packaging was, at best, not quite what you'd expect with a sensitive piece of electronics. Too much play between the product and its cushioning protection.

I didn't return it for two reasons: 1) It still worked just fine. The product itself is a fine product. 2) I had waited excitedly for it and didn't want to go through another wait for its replacement.
